In Moscow, You Can Now ‘Rent-A-Husband’

As a public service, Moscow is launching a ‘Rent-a-Husband’ program for its residents and it isn't what you think.



The ‘husbands’ provided will carry out tasks traditionally done by men, such as fixing things around the house, like a leaky faucet or a broken window.



The demand for these handymen services is currently being met by private companies, and some also rent out ‘wives’ who will cook and clean for paying customers. The business is booming and the services are particularly popular with the elderly and retirees.
