This Beautiful Ad For World Down Syndrome Day Will Touch Your Heart

To mark World Down Syndrome Day on 21 March, Italian Down Syndrome association CoorDown and Saatchi & Saatchi Italy have created a touching ad that shows how people with the disorder can live normal, independent lives.

Titled ‘The Special Proposal’, the ad shows a man named Salvatore proposing to his girlfriend Caterina during her shift at a McDonald’s restaurant, with the help of an a cappella trope.

After presenting her with the ring, he reveals another surprise—the keys to their new home.

The ad follows last year’s spot, which was also helmed by Saatchi & Saatchi Italy.
