Created by London-based director Jack Tew and producer Sorcha Anglim, ‘Me & You’ is a riveting short film about a couple that was shot entirely from above.
Similar to this short film that was set entirely in a computer, ‘Me & You’ takes place in a bedroom and offers a voyeuristic aerial view of a couple’s relationship, as it unfolds over the course of seven minutes.
We watch as love blossoms between them, from a home-movie date and the first time they have sex, to video game marathons and returning happy and exhausted from a Halloween party, and finally, as it comes to a heartbreaking end.
Poignant and relatable, it’s a well-observed account of what happens after the rose-tinted honeymoon phase fades and reality intrudes, told from a unique perspective.
