Leonie Gené and Joerg Duesterwald, arguably the best bodypainters in Germany, explore the relationship between art and nature by painting the bodies of naked models, blending them flawlessly into natural landscapes.
In their project, called ‘Metamorphosis’, Gené and Duesterwald take cues from various elements of nature in all four seasons, and skillfully recreates the colors and details on the bodies of their models.
With the help of precise poses, the body-paint effectively lends the models an “invisibility cloak”, making it hard to spot them in these pictures.
