Designers Represent The Arial Type Family With Human Body, From Skin To Bones

Arial Family’ is a experimental typography project by Spanish designers Alex Palazzi, Eudald Carré and Mio Ouchi.

The font family is explored using the changes of a human body—the Arial Black is represented with the human skin, it is striped down to the muscle for Arial Regular, and the bones for Arial Light.

The team used clay to form the shapes of the letters, adding on realistic skin textures after the photo shoot.
