Intricate, Lacy Patterns Created On Discarded Metal Objects With A Blowtorch

Ammunition boxes, unwanted car parts, and industrial objects like spades, wheelbarrows, and oil drums get a new lease of life thanks to Nova Scotia-born artist Cal Lane.

Using a blowtorch, she marries these cold and hard materials with lace patterns to soften them visually, while creating conflict in viewers.
