‘Standing’ Scooter-Bike Offers A Better Workout Than A Normal Bicycle

After the success of their innovative Halfbikes, which was first introduced last year, architects Martin Angelov and Mihail Klenov have returned with a new and improved version of their transportation device called ‘Halfbike II’.

Unlike its predecessor, the Halfbike II is now fitted with a horizontal handlebar for better control, and boasts a sleeker and curvier frame, making it look like a unique cross between a kick scooter and a bicycle.

Since users have to maintain a standing rider position while moving on the Halfbike II, this offers them a more strenuous workout than riding on traditional bicycles.

With its new look, the Halfbike II looks set to be another successful product from the creative duo—they have raised over $80,000 for their Kickstarter campaign so far.
