Transport service Uber has come up with a clever campaign to combat drunk driving.
Setting up a kiosk that serves as a breathalyzer in Toronto—called the ‘Uber Safe Breathalyzer’—Uber will provide a ride home for individuals who exceed the legal limit for alcohol content.
General manager of Uber Toronto, Ian Black, said, “We want to ensure a safe, reliable and affordable ride home is available to everybody, especially late at night when drunk driving is most common and can be avoided.”
