Dubai-based photographer Catalin Marin was admiring and photographing the view from the top of Liberty House in the Middle Eastern metropolis, when a sudden gust of wind knocked his iPhone out of his hands and sent it plummeting 42 stories to the ground.
Miraculously, the device survived the steep descent, and Marin managed to retrieve it from the ground worker who found it, using the ‘Find My iPhone’ app on his phone.
The video footage taken by the iPhone as it went flying towards the ground is both dizzy and exhilarating.
Check out the insane clip below—we should certainly hope to be as lucky as Marin if we dropped our phones from such great heights!
