‘Points’ is a robotic street sign created by Brooklyn-based studio Breakfast.

Designed as a ‘smart’ sign, it features three rotating arms that point people in the right direction based on what they are looking and what’s happening around them.

For example, during lunch time, the rotating sign will direct people to nearest food source; and if there’s a concert happening nearby, it will point in the direction of it.

It even displays additional information like train timings, game scores and restaurant specials.

According to the studio’s website, Points’ three arms are constantly updating themselves based on information from sources such as Twitter, RSS feeds, Foursquare and local data APIs.
