Hotel Accompanied With Waterfall To Be Built In Abandoned Chinese Quarry





Designed by UK architecture firm Atkins, The Songjiang Hotel is currently being built in Shanghai, China.



Embedded in an abandoned quarry, this 19-storey hotel will also have two underwater levels which will house a restaurant and an aquarium alongside it.



Adventurers can also opt to bungee jump or rock climb at the extreme sports center.



Furnished with 400 rooms, the hotel will use geothermal technology to generate electricity, will use foliage to help cover the roof of the hotel in the quarry.



After its completion in 2015, guests wille also be able to view a waterfall cascading down the quarry’s edge.
