A Social Duo Camera That Allows You To Capture 'Selfies' From Both Sides

London-based designer Chin-Wei Liao has created ‘DUO’, a camera that addresses both sides of the selfie (a photo you take of yourself to share with friends on social networks).

Liao’s ‘DUO’ allows two users to be photographer and subject at the same time. It consists of two identical, detachable camera heads with synchronized triggers. Every image captured has a counterpart, captured by its twin camera.

This project was created by Liao for his final project at RCA's Innovation Design Engineering program this spring. His intention was to refine the social experience of amateur portraiture.
