Photographer Judy Gelles travelled around the United States, China and India taking their portraits and asking them three questions: Who do you live with? What do you wish for? What do you worry about?
Although the faces of the children cannot be seen, their personalities still can be seen through they stances and their responses.
The large large variety of responses given reveals differences in their locations, standards of living and dreams and fears.
However, when seen together, the answers reveal a striking similarity in how children view the world, especially the importance they place on family.
