What if unemployment were personified—and a superhero?

Creators Erich Origen and Gan Golan have done just that, giving us a team of superheroes who are suffering from various problems caused by the economic downturn.

Protagonist Unemployed Man is accompanied by sidekick Plan B, but there are a motley of other heroes too, like Wonder Mother, Master of Degrees, and Fellowman.

While these heroes are all costumed, their problems are all too familiar—Master of Degrees cannot get a job since he’s overqualified for all positions, while Wonder Mother is quite literally trapped beneath a glass ceiling.

These heroes are up against the “Just Us League”, a team of villains who represent status quo.

Truthful and funny, these comics serve to comment on the state of the economy and give encouragement to others who are also in the same boat.
