Texas-based photographer and self-proclaimed nerd JD Hancock has created an awesome series of tabletop photos, in which he places various pop-culture characters in “unfamiliar situations”.
Taking his favorite childhood characters, he mashes them together and makes them act out funny scenarios.
For example, Thor can be seen riding a My Little Pony, while The Joker is being apprehended by Stormtroopers after throwing a pie at Darth Vader.
“I go out of my way to make my photos fun and whimsical,” he said. “I love putting well-known pop culture icons in situations you normally wouldn’t see them in—just to get a laugh out of the viewer.”
