London Underground Celebrates Its 150th Anniversary With LEGO Maps

To celebrate the London Underground’s 150th anniversary, LEGO helped create five Tube maps made entirely out of the iconic plastic bricks.

The five LEGO maps chart the progress of the Tube from 1927 to today, as well as project what the Tube would look like in 2020.

Each map is made with 1,000 LEGO bricks, and they are currently on display at South Kensington, Green Parl, Picadilly, Stratford and Kings Cross Station.
