Japanese car manufacturer, Toyota Motor Corporation, has designed a concept car that you can build yourself, to be exhibited at the 2013 International Tokyo Toy Show.
Designed to be fully customizable, the ‘Camatte57s’ concept car aims to bring “parents and children closer together as they work in collaboration on building their ideal car”.
The ‘Camatte57s’ is a compact three-seater, and is supposed to be so simple to operate that “even children can drive” it.
“Acceleration and braking pedals and seats can be adjusted to enable operation by children, while an adult seated in the rear-right seat assists steering and braking to help develop the child's driving skills”.
Although considered a toy, it will be interesting to see if Toyota can design and produce a street-legal version of the car.
