Vintage, Anatomically Correct Sketches of Mythical Creatures

Have you ever wondered what the anatomy of mythical creatures would look like?

Author and illustrator E. B. Hudspeth answers this question with his anatomically correct drawings of mythical creatures.

These drawings accompany the fictional biography of Dr Spencer Black in Hudspeth’s book, The Resurrectionist, which is a fake biography of a graverobber’s son.

Hudspeth combines story and illustrations in this two-part omnibus—the first part is mostly biographical, while the second part contains the The Codex Extinct Animalia, which showcases these lifelike drawings.

Sketches include favorite mythical animals like Pegasus, Cerberus and the Sphinx.
