Apple Plans To Produce Its Own Line Of Electric Cars By 2020

You can soon add an electric car to your collection of Apple products “as early as 2020”, according to a report by Bloomberg.

The tech giant is planning to produce its own line of electric cars within the next five years, and has already assembled a team of about 200 people, including “experts in technologies for batteries and robotics”, to work on its automotive project.

With its tight timeframe of five years, it would be interesting to see Apple competing against automakers Tesla Motors Inc. and General Motors Co.—both companies are also planning to release their own electric vehicles in 2017.

Would you go for a ride in a car designed by Apple?
