Delta’s latest ad is a wistful spot that sympathizes with sufferers of a unique problem: having to travel for business.
Titled ‘On The Road’, the one-minute ad shows a harried man dealing with the soul-crushing loneliness and alienation of business travel—a malfunctioning hotel room keycard, getting lost while going for a jog, and having lonely nights out.
The ad ends with him boarding a Delta flight as a voiceover says, “It’s not home, but with every well-considered detail, it becomes one step closer.”
Created by Wieden+Kennedy New York, it might not endear the airline to those of us who aren’t lucky enough to travel for work, but it’s certainly a lovely spot.
