Funny eBay Listing Mocks Leica’s New Camera That Has Been Artificially Aged

Earlier this year, German camera brand Leica released the “Correspondent” limited edition of its M-P digital rangefinder, which was designed by musician Lenny Kravitz—the surface and lenses of this camera has been artificially aged by hand to make it look like it has gone through “many years of constant use”.

In response to this launch, somebody—who obviously think that paying US$24,500 for a distressed camera is rather ridiculous—has put up a funny eBay listing that includes an ordinary Leica M6 camera and a small square of sandpaper.

Priced at around US$35,000, it is actually significantly more expensive than the original “Correspondent” camera—according to the person who put it up for auction, it is “to be spent in the style Leica M-P “Correspondent”.
