French creative director Thomas Blanchard has recently created a gorgeous time-lapse video that shows the wonderful blooming process of flowers.
The video consists of 9,624 photographs and took Blanchard four months to complete—he featured 21 types of flowers altogether, including purple lilies, white hyacinth, red amaryllis, blue iris, daffodils and tulips.
The flowers were shot against colorful, richly patterned vintage backgrounds instead of the usual black because the director felt that “the 60's / 70's is the most representative period for the flowers”, and this would be an appropriate way to pay tribute to them.
