Ad agency BBH London has created a website that lets you restore your very own ‘Ecce Homo’.
Called ‘The Cecilia Prize’, the website was inspired by the recent news of how Cecilia Giminez, a Spain-based elderly lady, had destroyed the valuable Ecce Homo artwork by 19th-century artist Elías García Martînez.
On the website, users can paint over the Ecce Homo artwork with different colors and brush sizes to create their own ‘restored’ masterpieces.
They can even share their finished picture by tweeting it to #ceciliaprize, which will also be posted on the website’s Pinterest board.
