As creatives and professionals, many of us find it difficult to get through the day without a good cup of coffee.
But have you ever wondered which profession has the heaviest coffee drinkers?
In an infographic by Ryoko Iwata, a self-professed coffee lover who runs I Love Coffee, she reveals which profession drinks the most amount of coffee and consumption trends at the workplace.
It was reported that the scientists and lab technicians are the heaviest coffee drinkers, followed by marketing and public relations professionals and education administrators.
Other notable mentions include editorial professionals, professors, personal caretakers and government workers.
It was also revealed that 46% of all U.S. workers claimed that they are less productive without coffee and at least 61% needed two or more cups each day.
As for coffee preferences—teachers, editorial and government professionals are most likely to add flavor to their joe; judges, attorneys and hotel workers prefer their coffee black; and lastly, human resource professionals and personal caretakers enjoy coffee with cream and sugar.
Strangely enough, we don’t see designers and IT programmers on the list—maybe they drink tea instead?
