UK-based company Snoozebox has come up with an ingenious concept to solve the housing issue for on-site staff at major events, such as the Olympics.
They provide portable contemporary hotel rooms in shipping containers, which can be loaded, stacked and transported by land, air or sea to any event or location around the world.
Once they have arrived at the location, all they need is 48 hours to be fully operation and ready for guests to ‘check-in’.
Each container houses two to four rooms that are fully serviced—each with its own bathroom, personal safe, television and free wireless internet.
According to their website, Snoozebox is currently providing 320 rooms for security personnel at the London Olympic Games.
