After announcing that it would be going all-digital in October, Newsweek has tweeted an early version of what will be the last print cover—and it features a hashtag.
The cover depicts a black and white photograph of the former Newsweek Building in New York City, with “#LastPrintIssue” emblazoned across it.
This seems like a particularly poetic way for the 80-year-old magazine to bid farewell to its print edition—the final print issue of Newsweek is set to hid newsstand today.
Do you think this is a fitting cover for the legacy of the vaulted magazine?
