Extreme Make-Over: Women Shorten Or Remove Toes To Fit Into Stilettos

A strange trend has emerged in the cosmetic surgery industry—a growing number of women are shortening or even removing their toes to more comfortably fit into stilettos.

While some women are going under the knife to correct unattractive deformities like bunions—a result of wearing high heel shoes—others are doing so just to be able to display prettier feet when wearing open-toed shoes.

It may seem like an extreme measure to take just to squeeze into painful shoes, but to the shoe addicts, this is probably a worthwhile investment.

Would you spend thousands of dollars just to fit into your favourite shoes?
