Artist Aaron Sherwood has put up an interactive installation that creates sounds and light when touched.

Called ‘Firewall’, audience members are encouraged to interact with the installation, which is made of spandex—or ‘elastane fibers’.

Whenever a person presses down on the elastic fibers, music and ‘fire-like’ visuals will be created—providing an “expressive musical playing experience”.

According to Sherwood, his interactive installation plays a larger part in an upcoming performance where dancers touch the membrane-like structure—which represents a metaphoric barrier between life and death.
