At the Arlanda airport in Stockholm, a decommissioned Boeing 747 has been transformed into luxury hotel.

Called ‘Jumbo Stay’, this ‘deluxe’ hotel has 27 rooms and can accommodate at least 76 guests.

The plane’s interior had to be dismantled and redecorated—while the cockpit was transformed into a Double Bedroom for guests to sleep in.

There is also a bar and café where guests can chill and relax—alternatively, they can even ‘hang out’ on the wing of the plane.

According to its owner, Oscar Diös, there are spaces in plane which has not been used up and he has plans to convert the plane’s jet turbines into double rooms for guests.
