Innovative biologist Christina Agapakis has produced cheese with starter cultures derived from bacteria found on human beings.
More specifically, she used bacteria collected from parts of the human anatomy that are rich in bacteria—namely the hands, feet, noses and armpits.
These cultures were then inoculated into fresh, organic milk, which would then yield “unique smelling fresh cheese”.
Would you eat this cheese, knowing what goes into it?
