Kuala Lumpur-based Grey has created a trio of print ads that uses some well-known faces to bring across the message that dyslexia need not be debilitating.
You may not know this, but John Lennon, Robert Einstein and Pablo Picasso—all of whom had extraordinary careers in their respective fields—were dyslexic.
The ads depict illustrated portraits of these famous personalities that are made up of scrabbled pencil scribbles—this artistic style is probably a reference to the disorientating effect of dyslexia.
To make these portraits even more meaningful and relevant, they were created by Vince Low, a dyslexic illustrator.
These compelling visuals are accompanied by taglines that make it clear that dyslexia were unable to “hide”, “limit” or “repress” the talent and potential of the featured icons.
