To promote its data roaming services, Swedish mobile company Fogg is planning to send tweets using real-life ‘homing’ pigeons.
In its campaign ‘Tweet Beyond Borders’, customers are encouraged to submit their tweets via the company’s website, and choose one of four pigeons to carry their tweets to Denmark, Germany, Belgium or Holland.
The birds will be released on 18 June 2013 from Malmö, Sweden, and they will “tweet your tweet” once they have arrived at their destination.
