As part of the 2013 ARTAQ Festival in Angers, France, French artist Mademoiselle Maurice—with the help of hundreds of volunteers—folded 30,000 origami pieces to create two colorful street art installations.
For the first installation, they created a rainbow portrait along the banks of the Maine river.
In the second installation, they laid out the remaining origami pieces on the steps leading to the Montée St-Maurice Cathedral—creating a wonderfully colored pathway.
