Tracing Superman’s history on screen through the men who portrayed him, Geoffroy’s illustrations not only provided a visual timeline of the superhero but also show how popular culture’s image of him has changed over time.
From the classically handsome Christopher Reeve to the more boyish Brandon Routh, they make clear that our idea of how Superman should look like is constantly evolving.
