In today’s tech-saturated world of social media and constant texting, snail mail has taken on a nostalgic glow from a time with a lot more human touch—so imagine how delightful it would be to receive mail that is written out on cookies.
In Japan, the newly launched “Cookie Mail” does exactly that, letting customers send customized messages that are printed onto little round cookies to friends and family—a single letter is written on each cookie, so an entire tray would spell out the message in full.
Coming in sets of 35, 70 and 105 cookies, users of this cookie delivery service can also choose from different packaging designs, which range from the elegant to the cute.
Unfortunately, while Cookie Mail receives orders from all over the world, it only ships within Japan—otherwise, wouldn’t this be a great way to send out festive cheer this holiday season?
