Photography website PetaPixel brought our attention to the LAST camera, a build-it-yourself 35mm film camera that produces the same beloved light-leaked images of regular toy cameras.

Created by Japanese company PowerShovel—and sold under Superheadz—this camera is marketed as the only DIY camera to be equipped with interchangeable lenses. The kit comes with a 22mm lens and a 45mm lens.

Easily put together, much like a model airplane, its modular design gives users the opportunities to customize it—there is even an on-going contest for the most creative and striking interpretations.

If you would like to find out more about how cameras work through the hands-on process of making your own, this may be just the thing for you.

The LAST camera is available for about US$60 over here.
