A Redesign Of The IKEA Blue Tote Bag That Is Big On Both Functionality And Style

While the current Frakta blue bag from IKEA is great for storing all your purchases from the furniture store, it doesn't look that great for everyday use, and would make you a walking advertisement for the brand.

Designers at Copenhagen studio Herman Cph took scraps from European textile producer Kvadrat to create a limited edition bag that is big on both functionality and good looks.

The bag comes with leather handles and two color schemes—in either blue and black, or light blue and dark blue—it will be available for purchase later this month for US$125, significantly more expensive than the original tote, which is priced at only US$0.59.

Would you use this redesigned IKEA tote bag?
