Icelandair has launched a new Aurora Borealis-themed plane as part of their #MyStopover campaign. The new campaign encourages passengers to stay in Iceland for up to seven days while on their journey between Europe and North America.
The Hekla Aurora recreates the stunning northern lights throughout the main cabin using an LED lighting system, giving passengers a unique on-board experience.
The Boeing 757 also has its exterior designed to fit in with the Aurora Borealis theme, depicting the stunning colors of the Icelandic winter landscape. The theme is apt as Iceland is one of the best places to view the Aurora Borealis in the northern hemisphere.
