Gordon Deacon was an avid Star Wars fan, who had his last dream fulfilled after battling with cancer.
When he was planning for his funeral, he requested that no one would turn up at his funeral wearing black—his widow Marilyn told itv that “his wish was to have a different funeral. People can either wear Star Wars costumes, but not Darth Vader”.
Gordon was sent off at his funeral with a horse carriage, accompanied by six stormtroopers.
