Legendary Graphic Designer Paul Rand Celebrated In New York Exhibition

A new show, Everything in Design, is to open at The Museum of the City of New York later this month. The show is to pay tribute to legendary graphic designer Paul Rand, whose timeless and classic work continues to inspire creative minds today.

The exhibition will feature Rand's works that span his whole career, from magazine covers for Apparel Arts and Idea to his well-known rebranding of IBM.

Quoting Rand, the Museum of the City of New York's Curator of Architecture and Design, Donald Albrecht says, "Rand once said 'The problem of the artist is to defamiliarise the ordinary' and it's a motto he took risks with throughout his career."
