Film editor Michael Branco has created a short film, called the ‘Blackbird’, a side-by-side visual comparison between the films Birdman, and Black Swan.
Michael noticed the stark similarity in the storylines of both the films, and decided to purchase the Blu-rays to do a quick video comparison.
He mentioned in the description of his video, “New York City—two artists, two opening nights, two rival figures, and one center stage. Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s “Birdman” bares many striking resemblances to Darren Aronofsky’s “Black Swan,” in terms of plot, characters, and on-screen imagery.”
