‘Tom and Jerry’, ‘Batman and The Joker’ and ‘Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort’—these are just some examples of rivals who absolutely hate each other, but at the same time, they can’t live without the other.
Philippines-based designer Dan Matutina has illustrated this love/hate relationship in an ongoing series he calls ‘Versus/Hearts’ that features several well-documented rivalries.
