Armed with tons of irony, Dutch jeweler Ted Noten has created a tongue-in-cheek survival kit for women that features—among other provocative items—a Botox-dispensing face mask.
The 3-D printed survival kit contains seven items—thus the name “7 Necessities”—which are namely a beauty mask, a gun, a helmet, a chastity belt, a chatelaine (used by women in the 18th and 19th century to hold important household items), a purse and a pair of glasses.
Each item conceals a number of secret compartments, which are used to hold the necessities, accessories and weapons—including a thumb-drive, a lipstick and anti-aging sperm whale oil—that modern women need to face the world.
While most women would disagree that a wedding ring or crystal ball is on their list of survival must-haves, this diamond and gold encrusted kit is still an interesting take on what it means to be a woman today—even if it from a clichéd male perspective.
