Facebook Launches ‘Photo Sync’ Feature For Smartphones

Facebook has officially launched its new ‘Photo Sync’ feature for Android and iOS smartphones.

With this new feature, smartphone users will have an easier time syncing their phone photos to their Facebook account.

Users can store up to 2GB worth of phone photos in a private album on their Facebook account—where they can select which photos they would like to share on their wall.

“We generally try to sync your photos as soon as you take them,” Facebook said in post, “However, we also take into account a number of factors, such as your battery level and sync settings.

“New photos that you take will be privately synced as you take them. In your syncing settings, you can choose to sync over Wi-Fi and your cellular network, sync or over Wi-Fi only, or turn syncing off entirely.

“You can also choose to sync all photos in your camera roll over Wi-Fi and see how much storage space you have available.”

The latest version of Facebook is now available for download on GooglePlay and the iTunes Store.
