Pieces Of Furniture Respond To Heat By ‘Changing Color’

Oxfordshire-based designer Jay Watson created pieces of thermo-chromatic furniture that respond to heat by ‘changing color’.

Called ‘Linger A Little Longer’, they respond to the heat of any warm crockery or body parts—similar to a how a mood ring works.

The result is an ephemeral ‘watermark’ that exposes the natural surface of the furniture.
