Fifty years after The Beatles released their first record, they continue to be loved and revered by millions of music-lovers—many of whom were not even alive when the band was in existence.
While it is common knowledge that that the British band is one of the most successful acts in pop music history, you may not know exactly how successful they were in terms of album sales.
Personal finance website Confused.com has created a brightly colored infographic that collated the sale figures of all the Beatles albums ever made, including those released by individual members after the band was dissolved.
Each one of these albums did exceedingly well, with the sales record being held by The White Album, which went a whooping 19X Platinum.
