Hidden in an abandoned freight elevator on Cortlandt Alley in New York City, is a quirky and unique museum simply named ‘Museum’.
The ‘Museum’ contains a collection of unusual and unconventional objects, like toothpaste tubes from around the world, homemade weapons and misspelled food container labels.
Although only open to visitors on weekends, the 'Museum' is 'viewable' 24-hours a day and 7-days a week through viewing windows.
Visitors wanting to know more about a particular object can “call a toll-free hotline (888-763-8839) and enter the item’s identification number”.
