Hamburg-based department store Görtz has created paper bird sculptures with a shoelace through their beaks, in order to promote their children’s shoe section.
As part of their campaign, Görtz hired design firm Gürtlerbachmann GmbH in order to bring their sales campaign to life. Gürtlerbachmann delivered on their promise, and brought a colorful world of birds to the store.
By using shoelaces as a representation for colourful small worms in the beaks of five bird characters, they show different native types of birds that make up for the packaging component of the campaign. Customers are invited to collect these birds, as a way of increasing customer frequency and to win customers for the Görtz store card.
