Funny Comic Shows Why The Media Should Stop Hating On The Internet Generation

Bashing millennials, defined as those of us born between 1980 and 2000, has become a real trend in the media—according to “brave, investigative journalism”, they are “lazy”, “narcissistic” and “addicted to their phones”.

Enraged by this latest case of “generational slander”—previously used against the baby-boomers in the 1960s—cartoonist and Pulitzer Prize Finalist Matt Bors has created a humorous comic titled “Can We Stop Worrying About The Millennials Yet?” on CNN.

Stating that the internet generation is not responsible for the slow economy, lack of jobs and exorbitant student loans—which may result in them being incapable of moving out of their parents’ house—the comic shows why we should stop “hating on the millennials” and cut them some slack.
