The MailChimp Logo Gets A Subtle But Refreshing Makeover





San Francisco-based freelance designer Jessica Hische has given the logo of MailChimp, an email marketing website, a subtle but refreshing makeover.



The designer candidly describes the project as “one of those classy facelifts that make your friends ask you if you’ve been sleeping better lately or lost some weight because you look like a more vivacious version of yourself and not like a different person.”



Hische has put up side-by-side comparisons of the old and new logos that highlight their differences on her website—in general, she has lightened the weight of the logo and revised the letterforms for enhanced legibility.
